The Federal Association of the German DMCs (BVDIU) is a federation of incoming and destination management companies (DMCs) that are registered in Germany. Incoming and destination management companies are specialists in the travel sector, who purchase touristic services within a destination or country in order to sell them as wholesaler either as packages or single services to the global travel industry. Their specific knowledge of the respective source markets, their expertise regarding the diversity of the German touristic products and their immense experience in worldwide marketing activities not only contribute to a great degree to the success of the German tourism business, but make them invaluable partners for tour operators and travel organizers from abroad and within Germany itself.

The members of the association have their specific fields of experience and knowledge in various fields, such as FIT, group travel, MICE, trade fair travel, guaranteed departure tours, shore excursions or youth travel.

Some of them cater for specific markets only, others specialize on certain products or put their main focus on specific regions in Germany. But all of our members are committed to help their partners and clients with a maximum of service, reliability and know-how.
